Hi readers!

So today was Friday and I have a very busy day.  I  woke up very early and I went to school with Mikaela and Mikael.  Mikaela was nervous because she had an exam today and I was heading to Swedish class and I told her good luck.  I met with my mates and then went to Swedish where we learned some furniture and also we checked our homework for the next class. We learned how to describe our house and also we ask some questions about the words that we’ve been learning.

Right after Swedish class, we had English 5 which was a very interesting class because we saw a TED talk that I’ve already seen and also we made questions about it after watching it.  Suzanne the teacher is special, she played a song before starting the class because she thought that they work to do today was going to be very exhausting.  She also gave us some advice about our writing in English because we write just as we think.

After English class we went to have lunch, it was very very good the lunch today, we had some strange meat that was a little bit spicy and we had that with chips for the dessert I took an apple.  After lunch, we had English 6 and we had some homework,  we delivered our homework to the teacher and then we practice some reading formal texts.

So yeah Fridays are pretty busy. Sabela, Marina and I left to Täby Centrum to look for cakes for Saturday’s party. But again everything is too expensive. We left and went to the library finally, I was looking forward to going for weeks!! It’s amazing, super modern. We were there so Sabela could use a computer. Then we went to Esplanad to wait until our photography course started. We played cards for 2 hours and then we discovered that the course was canceled because the teacher was sick. Disappointing I know.

I went back home and met one of Mikaela’s friends that was coming for dinner. Then two more arrived and we played Never have I ever, and I thought there were really cool and super nice. They left pretty early and I went to my room to watch a film. Mikael and Maria arrived and I said: Sov Gott to them and then fall asleep.

SWEDISH GIANTS

Hi readers! To be quick, the morning has been the same for three days so let's go directly to the way to my first and only lesson, Mikael took me to Tibble and we had our second Swedish Express class, I learnt some parts of the body in Swedish and also how to say: ''I have a headache'','' my face is frozen'', being productive every single time.  We had P.E but only Marina, Sabela and me because Victor missed the bus and couldn't make it. We had basketball and I had so much fun. I really enjoy P.E classes and dancing here. I met a very nice girl who is red-haired and we had to be in an activity together. Fernando is a great teacher, he explains everything to us in English and also tries to make the Swedish students be friendly with us. He made teams and at first, my team didn't pass me the ball but Fernando started to play with us and he passed me the ball and I scored like 4 times. So after he left us my team started to pass me t

ORIENTEERING

Hi readers! Another day here. Today I had to wake up early because I had to be at Tibble at 8:30 again to go to orienteering, which is basically run in the forest looking for points. Well at breakfast I thought I would be alone but I was wrong because today I had Mikael's company and day by day I'm understanding him better so my English is improving.  I prepared everything and took the bus. When we were all together at Tibble we took another bus to go to the forest next to the lake I went on Sunday (First day). So we waited there for our maps. It appeared that Swedish students had to do it for P.E. class and we didn't so we got lost very fast just in the beginning. When one said to the left other said to the right and at one point I decided not to participate in the arguments and just follow who I wanted. But it was really fun although we ended up running to get the bus and I felt really tired by the end. When we arrived at T.G again we said goodbye to our Engl

BEGINNING OF SOMETHING

Hi, I'm Lucy. If you are reading this please be welcome to my diary blog, I'm writing here with the purpose of sharing my experience in Sweden with you. I have been selected to spend 2 months in Täby, Sweden for an Erasmus+. And if you don't know what an Erasmus+ is, well I was about to explain it to you. Erasmus + was created with the intention of making bonds between different cultures. So If you understand someone's culture and way of living, you will also understand their behavior and you two wouldn't be in a conflict. So some people thought that the best way to get to know new cultures is traveling, and they created the Erasmus programme. Lots of people from the beginning until now have traveled and experienced new places, new ways of life and gain practice bonding with other communities. Letting many people take advantage of an opportunity like mine.
