CINEMA

Hi readers!

Today I woke up after a really tough night, and also I realized very early that it was my last free day. I stayed in bed for a while and finished a film of the last night. I had breakfast and realized that I was the only one awake because Mikael wasn't at home and Mikaela was still sleeping. We were running out of cereals so I decided to go to Täby Centrum and buy them and other stuff. 

It was a great opportunity to talk with my aunt and also clear my mind for some minutes. At Ica (the only supermarket that I know of) I met Frida. We talked and I finished to buy what I needed, then I accompanied her to her work and she told me about the party last night. 

I missed the bus back home so I had to write to Mikaela to warn her about my delay. I talked with Marina and Sabela by video chat. Back home I helped with the lunch and the cleaning. We had lunch, we ate hamburgers with chips and then we planned the evening. We were going to the cemetery because is a tradition here to leave candles to your dead relatives the first day of November. 

I made plans to go to the cinema after the cemetery. It was pretty much of a disaster making plans with 8 people. During our way to the cemetery, we got lost because Mikael drove to his work and also we were listening to one hit wonder songs so today I have lots of songs to share with you. 

The cemeteries here are very different from the ones in Spain. There are all in the open air and it is more common to have a grave not to be incinerated. It was really beautiful seeing the candles, and the graves and also the people visiting their relatives. The funny thing happened when we couldn't find the graves. We had to look in old photos to look for them. Well, we left the candles and then went to the last grave that was in another cemetery, yeah two cemeteries in only one evening.

The other cemetery was modern and also pretty beautiful. After that Mikael dropped us with Sabela, Tim, Marina, and Victor. We played football. We went to Sabela's place and then we went to the bus stop to go to the cinema. At the cinema, we went to have dinner first and we laughed and talked for almost an hour. Then we went to buy food for the cinema and went to the movie. We watched A star is born with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. I super recommend it. We watched the film in English with Swedish subtitles so there were some parts that we didn't understand a shit. 

After the film, it was very late and we started the next day the classes again. Mikael picked us up and at home, I had a shower and went straight to bed.

SWEDISH GIANTS

Hi readers! To be quick, the morning has been the same for three days so let's go directly to the way to my first and only lesson, Mikael took me to Tibble and we had our second Swedish Express class, I learnt some parts of the body in Swedish and also how to say: ''I have a headache'','' my face is frozen'', being productive every single time.  We had P.E but only Marina, Sabela and me because Victor missed the bus and couldn't make it. We had basketball and I had so much fun. I really enjoy P.E classes and dancing here. I met a very nice girl who is red-haired and we had to be in an activity together. Fernando is a great teacher, he explains everything to us in English and also tries to make the Swedish students be friendly with us. He made teams and at first, my team didn't pass me the ball but Fernando started to play with us and he passed me the ball and I scored like 4 times. So after he left us my team started to pass me t

ORIENTEERING

Hi readers! Another day here. Today I had to wake up early because I had to be at Tibble at 8:30 again to go to orienteering, which is basically run in the forest looking for points. Well at breakfast I thought I would be alone but I was wrong because today I had Mikael's company and day by day I'm understanding him better so my English is improving.  I prepared everything and took the bus. When we were all together at Tibble we took another bus to go to the forest next to the lake I went on Sunday (First day). So we waited there for our maps. It appeared that Swedish students had to do it for P.E. class and we didn't so we got lost very fast just in the beginning. When one said to the left other said to the right and at one point I decided not to participate in the arguments and just follow who I wanted. But it was really fun although we ended up running to get the bus and I felt really tired by the end. When we arrived at T.G again we said goodbye to our Engl

BEGINNING OF SOMETHING

Hi, I'm Lucy. If you are reading this please be welcome to my diary blog, I'm writing here with the purpose of sharing my experience in Sweden with you. I have been selected to spend 2 months in Täby, Sweden for an Erasmus+. And if you don't know what an Erasmus+ is, well I was about to explain it to you. Erasmus + was created with the intention of making bonds between different cultures. So If you understand someone's culture and way of living, you will also understand their behavior and you two wouldn't be in a conflict. So some people thought that the best way to get to know new cultures is traveling, and they created the Erasmus programme.
