NATIONS DAY

Wednesday. Today I woke up early again, I’m really tired of waking early but I should not complain. Well, I had breakfast and then prepared my clothes for gym class. Mikael gave me a ride to Tibble while he was teaching me some Swedish it was very productive.

At Tibble, I met with my partners to go to the Central Court where the gym class was. We finally met Fernando our P.E teacher who is a very nice man. He talked to us in English so we could understand him and also explained us the exercises we were going to do. So today's lesson was about strength something that I realized I don't have. He did one by one every exercise so we see how it's done. 

After the P.E class, we went to our lockers and then we went into the library for the first time since we arrived. Well there is a lot of people there and we tried to make time until lunch because our next lesson wasn't until 15:00 and we were done by 9:45 so 5 hours of doing nothing. We went for lunch at 11:00 and it was disgusting for us because every single Swedish student loved the food today, while we were complaining all the time about it. 

After lunch, we went for a while to Esplanad to paint and just do something to don't die of boredom. But Luciana our Italian teacher wanted us at 13:00 at Tibble to teach us how to introduce our selves in Italian. So she gave us a paper with the expressions and we read it in front of her trying to do it rightly. 

After that, we had half an hour free again, we met with Frida by chance and helped her with Spanish. She is better than she thinks she is, and I really like being with her more every day. We played some cards game that needs us to count so we counted in Swedish to practice and in Spanish to make Frida practice. It was really fun, we also tried to learn by heart our introduction in Italian but we ended up reading it so it wasn't worth it.

At 15:00, we had Italian for the first time all Spanish together and I need to say that I love Italian already it's a very beautiful language and we have an excellent teacher. We checked some exercises from the last lesson and we played a game all the class together to practice articles and verbs in Italian. It's called Kahoot and every student has a nickname and we played against each other. It's really fun and effective because now I can say the difference between the articles in Italian and also some verbs and that only in two classes and I've been with Swedish almost three weeks and I can't pronounce even a single phrase right. 

We ended very hungry and tired, we went to Täby Centrum and had something to eat and Marina and I bought our favorite thing in the world: Funko pop. They are some sort of toys that are for true fans of a TV show or a movie and the shop had a very good offer 3x2 so I took one and let Marina took the other two because her birthday is this weekend and I wanted her to have them.

I left for home very early after the shopping and I saw something strange. Some buses had the Swedish flag on their ceilings so I looked for the reason on internet and I saw that they put that when is a very important date like a royal birthday or the day of Sweden, but today was Nations day and that's why they had them, also on Tibble they had like a sale of cookies and a play because of the Nations day too. I took the bus very proud of myself for knowing the reason for the flag

At home, I rest for a little and then Matilda arrived. I really like her, she and Mikaela put on some music and started to cook the dinner. We shared some music and one the songs will be the song of today you'll see it in a minute. Then we had dinner, that was way better than lunch, it was nuggets with chips and a sauce with corn on it. We talked for a while and Maria arrived with a package with some things for Mikaela and we talked altogether about a lot of things. Matilda also recommended me some costumes for the Halloween party I'm going to attend on Saturday. This family is amazing I love them so much.

SWEDISH GIANTS

Hi readers! To be quick, the morning has been the same for three days so let's go directly to the way to my first and only lesson, Mikael took me to Tibble and we had our second Swedish Express class, I learnt some parts of the body in Swedish and also how to say: ''I have a headache'','' my face is frozen'', being productive every single time.  We had P.E but only Marina, Sabela and me because Victor missed the bus and couldn't make it. We had basketball and I had so much fun. I really enjoy P.E classes and dancing here. I met a very nice girl who is red-haired and we had to be in an activity together. Fernando is a great teacher, he explains everything to us in English and also tries to make the Swedish students be friendly with us. ORIENTEERING

Hi readers! Another day here. Today I had to wake up early because I had to be at Tibble at 8:30 again to go to orienteering, which is basically run in the forest looking for points. Well at breakfast I thought I would be alone but I was wrong because today I had Mikael's company and day by day I'm understanding him better so my English is improving.  I prepared everything and took the bus. When we were all together at Tibble we took another bus to go to the forest next to the lake I went on Sunday (First day). So we waited there for our maps. It appeared that Swedish students had to do it for P.E. class and we didn't so we got lost very fast just in the beginning. When one said to the left other said to the right and at one point I decided not to participate in the arguments and just follow who I wanted. But it was really fun although we ended up running to get the bus and I felt really tired by the end. When we arrived at T.G again we said goodbye to our Engl

BEGINNING OF SOMETHING

Hi, I'm Lucy. If you are reading this please be welcome to my diary blog, I'm writing here with the purpose of sharing my experience in Sweden with you. I have been selected to spend 2 months in Täby, Sweden for an Erasmus+.
