LOST IN STOCKHOLM
Hi readers!
Tuesday, exhausting day. I had breakfast very early and took everything I needed for today. I took the bus with Mikaela and her friend Alice, who I really like because she is funny and happy all the time. When we were at Tibble at 8:35 Mikaela showed me where she has her locker. Then I waited for my mates and went to Swedish with Katarina.
Before we started the class we talked a little bit how was our first week and our weekend, then we asked some doubts about or schedule and she found lockers for us. Today we learned how to ask the time and some numbers and I don't remember what else.
After that, we had English with a class that already know us. They made fun of us some of the Swedish students trying to talk in their Spanish but we didn't care. We did crosswords and we went for lunch at 11:10 but we couldn't get into the cantine until 11:30 because now there are so many people that we had to wait in a line. But it was worth it because today's food was so much better than yesterday's. It was tacos, and they were delicious.
We went to Täby Centrum to look for lockers for our lockers, they were expensive everywhere so I bought it in Tiger which is the only cheap place here. Then we left some stuff in our lockers at Tibble and played cards. Sabela and Marian went to Frida's gym and Victor and I went to Stockholm.
We weren't so sure how was the way to get there but the important fact is that we could reach Stockholm in one piece. We started to walk A LOT, we found some bikes and we wanted to ride them but we needed a special card so we kept walking for a while. We walk all Drottninggatan. I bought a pair of earing with a great discount and we saw many other shops but they were too expensive. We asked where we could buy those bike cards in a kiosk and right after that Victor hit himself with a glass' shop because thought it was the entrance. After that funny accident, we had a milkshake at Mcdonalds and found a shop to buy the bike cards.
Well, this was the main part of my day. Bikes here are different from Spain. So I got on the bike and I didn't know how to stop so Victor taught me how: you have to pedal backward. My first thought was regretting buying the bike cards but after a while, I had control over the bike and I really enjoyed it. A car almost hit me and there was a very narrow tunnel where I fell of the bike twice although these it couldn't be more perfect. Right now I don't regret anything and I also have to more days with my bike card.
After the trip with the bikes, I felt very exhausted so we left the bikes and took the subway back home. There was a brief moment when I thought we were lost in the subway and then on the train but I trusted Victor and everything went well.
We met Tim and talked with him and then everybody went back home. I arrived and waited like 2 hours until dinner was ready. We had dinner without Maria although she was the one who prepared the hamburgers in the morning.
Finally, I'm sitting in my desk wondering what else can Sweden bring to my happiness. I guess you'll have to keep reading me to discover it.
Song of the day, very accurate for today:
Thanks for reading see you soon!
