SNOW IN OCTOBER

Hi readers!

Today was the first day of our break week. I spent the morning doing nothing because I'm sleeping very bad so I feel tired all day. I talked with my friends to meet and go to a garage sale. I ate something from the freezer and then prepare everything to go out. By the way, It snowed during the morning and everything was white outside.  

I took a bus and then a train to Stockholm Östra where I waited for Tim and Victor to go to the garage sale but guess what? We didn't find the place because they didn't want to follow my directions so we ended up in a McDonalds eating because they were hungry. I really want to go there soon because 2 hand things here are very cheap.

After the meal, we went with Marina and her family that is visiting her for 5 days. They are very nice and they took us for a fica (coffee with a biscuit) but Tim Victor and I didn't eat anything because we had just eaten. We stayed for a while talking in the cafeteria and then Marina's family left and we went to an H&M to buy a scarf because I was needing one very badly. 

With Marina's family, we saw another part of the center of Stockholm that I thought it was really beautiful and as always very expensive. 

Today wasn't a very interesting day as you can read, well we went back to Täby and I got home freezing and very tired. I had dinner with Mikaela and Mikael we had cannelloni and a very intense conversation but it was nothing at the end. We watched two episodes of AHS and I had to stop because I don't really understand that TV show and it's pretty sadic for me so only in little doses.

I had a nice shower and now I'm here writing this with a great song going through my ears. Enjoy it!

SWEDISH GIANTS

Hi readers! To be quick, the morning has been the same for three days so let's go directly to the way to my first and only lesson, Mikael took me to Tibble and we had our second Swedish Express class, I learnt some parts of the body in Swedish and also how to say: ''I have a headache'','' my face is frozen'', being productive every single time.  We had P.E but only Marina, Sabela and me because Victor missed the bus and couldn't make it. We had basketball and I had so much fun. I really enjoy P.E classes and dancing here. I met a very nice girl who is red-haired and we had to be in an activity together. Fernando is a great teacher, he explains everything to us in English and also tries to make the Swedish students be friendly with us. He made teams and at first, my team didn't pass me the ball but Fernando started to play with us and he passed me the ball and I scored like 4 times. So after he left us my team started to pass me t

ORIENTEERING

Hi readers! Another day here. Today I had to wake up early because I had to be at Tibble at 8:30 again to go to orienteering, which is basically run in the forest looking for points. Well at breakfast I thought I would be alone but I was wrong because today I had Mikael's company and day by day I'm understanding him better so my English is improving.  I prepared everything and took the bus. When we were all together at Tibble we took another bus to go to the forest next to the lake I went on Sunday (First day). So we waited there for our maps. It appeared that Swedish students had to do it for P.E. class and we didn't so we got lost very fast just in the beginning. When one said to the left other said to the right and at one point I decided not to participate in the arguments and just follow who I wanted. But it was really fun although we ended up running to get the bus and I felt really tired by the end. When we arrived at T.G again we said goodbye to our Engl

BEGINNING OF SOMETHING

Hi, I'm Lucy. If you are reading this please be welcome to my diary blog, I'm writing here with the purpose of sharing my experience in Sweden with you. I have been selected to spend 2 months in Täby, Sweden for an Erasmus+. And if you don't know what an Erasmus+ is, well I was about to explain it to you. Erasmus + was created with the intention of making bonds between different cultures. So If you understand someone's culture and way of living, you will also understand their behavior and you two wouldn't be in a conflict. So some people thought that the best way to get to know new cultures is traveling, and they created the Erasmus programme.
