SWEDISH AND SPANISH
Hi readers!
Today was a long day. We had three languages; Swedish, English 5, and English 6. I had a strong breakfast and prepared for the cold I thought it would be. But SURPRISE! It was 1 degree ALMOST FROZEN! When we were about to leave for the bus Maria and Mikael arrived and told us we could go altogether by car. That was very reassuring for my body. We waited and went all the family into the car to go to Tibble.
There I met with my classmates and went to Swedish. I am trying to learn more every day but this language sometimes is like a headache. The pronunciation and the writing are so complicated that I forgot everything when I go out the class. After that, we had English 5 and we were worried that we wouldn't have enough time to have lunch, but the students that share the class with us told us that the teacher wasn't coming, something that we knew like 10 minutes before the Swedish class but although we thanked their kindness.
So we had a spare hour to talk and work a little. Then we went to have lunch and today we ate twice because it was DELICIOUS! I think it was time to make good food finally. After the lunch, we played cards trying to make time for English 6 with Serena.
The English class was amazing because here the teachers make the students participate, work in groups and the best of all: think a lot. I decided to be separated from my mates because I wanted to practice English and meet new people. It worked perfectly. Here the people are very focused during the class and also they enjoy it. So I discussed some facts with my partner and also made work with two very nice guys next to me. I enjoy a lot the way that they work here.
Oh, I almost forgot to say I would be doing dance and learning Italian at Tibble because I have so much free time.
In the evening, Marina, Victor and I went to Frida's house to make time until we went to Emma's house because she and Sabela prepared a dinner for all of us. At Frida's, we met some Emily's (Frida's sister) friends and there it was a Spanish girl called Laura that was very nice to us. We played cards with them but I felt very lost sometimes because there were speaking Swedish all the time. Then we watched some TV shows and headed to Emma's house to meet with the rest of the group.
Once there, we were 8 people: Frida and Marina, Tim and Victor, Sabela and Emma and Mikaela and me. That was the first time we were all together since the beginning at the airport. We ate pizza, chips, cinnamon rolls, listened to music, played Uno and other card games and we played ouija.
At first, I wasn't so sure of playing because I was going to laugh but once we were sitting there with the candles, the board and everybody was so serious that I had to be like them. I thought it was strange because I can't really say how I was because I don't even know. We met Tomas and he was a 23-year-old guy who died in an accident and studied at Tibble, ... Well, we asked a lot of questions and I'm sure some of us are more united since then. After the game, we ate ice cream and played some music while we were playing cards again. Then at 0:00 everybody seemed dead so we went home.
At home, I met a friend of Mikael that was from Spain and has two kids, one in EE.UU, Lucas and another one that is in Madrid right now.
To be clear I usually write the blog during the day but yesterday I was very tired that I didn't finish this entry so I didn't upload it.
Song of the yester-day:
Thanks for reading all of this.
