90 YEAR OLD BIRTHDAY

Hi readers!

So today was Sunday and I decided I needed to rest badly because of last night wasn't good enough to support a Swedish day. But again I didn't sleep well, I'm going to get to the bottom of this but for now, I will keep sleeping in car trips as usual. 

I had pancakes for breakfast they were pretty good and I wanted them a lot. I had them with jam and orange juice. I spend the morning checking my e-mail and trying to organize my stuff. At 13:00 Mikael came from trainning and brought some chicken to eat before we left for a birthday party. 

The birthday was of the grandma of Matilda she was about to be 90 years old. We had to go to another island and I slept in the car. Before we went there we had to buy a present at Täby Centrum. I was very sleepy all the way to the party. Once we arrived Matilda introduced me to all there and they were all old and very nice people. It was like a bunch of flats where only old people live. Matilda showed us her grandma's place. We helped to organize the place where the party was. It was all very cute and comfortable. I met a very cool man who is the half-brother of Eivor, the birthday girl.

Once the party started I realized it was more like lunch. There was a really strange cake, made of seafood and bread, it was surprising the fact that I liked it but I didn't repeat. After that, we sang and there were some special toasts for Eivor. The brother told me some very interesting things like Charlie Chaplin had his first son when he was 80. I enjoyed a lot those hours. Everyone was kind and friendly to me. 

I said bye to everyone and felt really fortunate to get to see how Swedish people celebrate their birthdays and it's really different from Spain. 

Going back home we listened to Swedish singers and I talked to my family once at home. I watched an episode of AHS (American Horror Story) with Mikaela and Mikael. Then talked with my friends and had something to eat before writing this blog. Right now I'm very tired so I'm going to sleep.

SWEDISH GIANTS

Hi readers! To be quick, the morning has been the same for three days so let's go directly to the way to my first and only lesson, Mikael took me to Tibble and we had our second Swedish Express class, I learnt some parts of the body in Swedish and also how to say: ''I have a headache'','' my face is frozen'', being productive every single time.  We had P.E but only Marina, Sabela and me because Victor missed the bus and couldn't make it. We had basketball and I had so much fun. I really enjoy P.E classes and dancing here. I met a very nice girl who is red-haired and we had to be in an activity together. Fernando is a great teacher, he explains everything to us in English and also tries to make the Swedish students be friendly with us. ORIENTEERING

Hi readers! Another day here. Today I had to wake up early because I had to be at Tibble at 8:30 again to go to orienteering, which is basically run in the forest looking for points. Well at breakfast I thought I would be alone but I was wrong because today I had Mikael's company and day by day I'm understanding him better so my English is improving.  I prepared everything and took the bus. When we were all together at Tibble we took another bus to go to the forest next to the lake I went on Sunday (First day). So we waited there for our maps. It appeared that Swedish students had to do it for P.E. class and we didn't so we got lost very fast just in the beginning. When one said to the left other said to the right and at one point I decided not to participate in the arguments and just follow who I wanted. But it was really fun although we ended up running to get the bus and I felt really tired by the end. When we arrived at T.G again we said goodbye to our Engl

BEGINNING OF SOMETHING

Hi, I'm Lucy. If you are reading this please be welcome to my diary blog, I'm writing here with the purpose of sharing my experience in Sweden with you. I have been selected to spend 2 months in Täby, Sweden for an Erasmus+. And if you don't know what an Erasmus+ is, well I was about to explain it to you. Erasmus + was created with the intention of making bonds between different cultures. So If you understand someone's culture and way of living, you will also understand their behavior and you two wouldn't be in a conflict.
